spring ahead? nah, i'm all for fall behind.

happy st. patty's day!

i'm still trying to catch up on my sleep for a loss of an hour this past weekend, so i'm gonna think back to fall. when you fall behind, and GAIN an extra hour of sleep. since i've re-discovered some of these photos from back in october, i'm gearing up for spring and time to take some new photos! but for now, just having fun adjusting things in Adobe Camera Raw, and then playing around with some action presets. i discovered some new freebies at MCP Actions. I haven't had a ton of time to try them yet since I just downloaded them, but I'll let you know what I think.

this one is called a 'swipe' -- made by slowing down the shutter speed, and moving the camera (and your whole head) up and down... some swipes might work better moving side to side

now, i consider myself a landscape/nature photographer. during the photo weekend, we went to an old farm that made for some pretty sweet shots. i'm still figuring out how set up some of these shots, since these aren't my typical  subjects, but hey, i thought i'd try something new...
