{one} what is one food that, as an adult you love, but as a child you said you’d never touch?i pretty much ate nothing as a child aside from chicken fingers, hot dogs and pizza, so anything would qualify. but the first specific thing that comes to mind is BBQ sauce. (i still deny that ketchup is involved--i hate ketchup)


{two} did you go to college? if yes, what was your major?yes. i completed a 5-year combined BA/MA program and graduated with a bachelor's in environmental science and a master's in energy and environmental analysis.


{three} what’s the most wild animal you’ve seen in real life (not counting the zoo)?i studied abroad in ecuador, including the galapagos islands, and went on an african safari in grad school, so giant tortoises? swimming with sea lions? 10 species of monkeys? lions? hippos? elephants? crocodiles? a black rhino? blue-footed boobies? 

{four} have you ever been to a fortune teller?yes to a palm reader, i went with some friends in high school. she knew that my uncle had just passed away, it was kind of creepy.


{five} can you juggle?no. not at all.


{six} hardwood floors or carpet?depends on the room, but i'd lean towards hardwood.


{seven} is it called “soda” or “pop”?soda


{eight} what was your first car?a 2000 toyota echo. and it's still my car :)


{nine} what is the most decadent dessert you’ve ever eaten?i've eaten a lot of decadent desserts in my day (mmm chocolate), but i'll have to go with this one: new years eve 2001, at the top of a hotel on the highest of the seven hills of Rome, at the most extravagant dinner i've ever attended ($1000/per person), and pretty much all i  ate were the rolls and the dessert -- two chocolate towers with 2001 in chocolate between them. (i was not eating duck liver pate or quail eggs or caviar in a zucchini flower )
